Scotmid Funerals Tartan Strip

Walking Across Edinburgh For Our Charity of The Year

On Saturday 15th April 2023 our funeral staff walked across Edinburgh to raise much needed funds for Scotmid’s charity of the year Guide Dogs.

We’ve taken the lead and chosen Guide Dogs as our barkingly brilliant charity companions.

The funding will enable Guide Dogs to train three new Habilitation Specialists, as well as two Guide Gog Mobility Specialists, who will help and support hundreds more people in Scotland who are living with sight loss.

We walked 10 miles from our office at Boswall Parkway, taking the road through Ravelston to Gorgie for a break at our Angle Park office, before walking on to our Forrester Park office.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
