We operate under three different trading names, but you can rest assured you’ll receive the same exceptional levels of personal service whichever of our local offices you choose. Most of them, 16 locations across Edinburgh and the central belt, operate under the Scotmid name. In Broxburn, Thomas Brown represent us. And in Motherwell, you’ll find Dundas Fyfe.
Thomas Brown is a valued member of the extended Scotmid family and having been serving their own local communities since 1904. Extremely experienced Funeral Directors, they’re able to take care of all aspect of arranging a funeral.

A lasting memorial
At Thomas Brown they also have their own in-house memorial masonry team that can help you create a bespoke and lasting memorial of someone you’ve lost.
We can help you choose a headstone or marker, and advise you on any regulations which you may need to take into account when making your selection.
We offer a wide range of styles and designs, all of which we can talk you through in detail if you’d find it helpful.
