Are you really available 24 hours a day?

Yes. Our Main Street office in Deans is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, but the telephone is answered by our own people around the clock, every day of the year, including Christmas and New Year.

How much does a funeral cost in Livingston?

Which crematorium would we use?

Most families we look after from Deans choose West Lothian Crematorium in Livingston, which is a few minutes away. We also arrange funerals at Mortonhall, Warriston and every other crematorium in the area and further afield. If you have no preference we are happy to recommend one.

Can I arrange a funeral without coming into the office?

Yes. We can make all the arrangements by telephone, or visit you at home, whichever is easier for you. Many families find a home visit less daunting.

Do you offer help if we cannot afford the funeral?

Yes. We will always work to a budget you set, and we can help you apply for the Scottish Government’s Funeral Support Payment if you receive certain benefits. Please tell us early. There is more we can do at the start than at the end.
