Our office is located on Melville Drive, just off a roundabout on the A721 at the junction of Menteith Road and Brandon Street.
We’re available 24 hours a day to assist you on the telephone, with our office open from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Funeral Arranger
I have been a Funeral arranger with Scotmid since October 2013. I think this is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have, to be able to help bereaved families during what is probably the toughest and saddest times in their lives is an absolute privilege.
I live with my husband Bryan and I enjoy socialising, attending Church and spending time with our family. I am also a member of an amateur theatre group.

I joined Scotmid Co-operative Funeral Directors as a funeral arranger in 2015 after beginning my career in the funeral service as a driver for a very small family business. I am now immensely proud and privileged to hold the position of funeral director and to serve the communities I work within at a difficult time in their lives. Before I discovered my vocation I developed my customer service skills working with HMRC and then as a sales floor manager in a large retail chain for 8 years. I chose to work for Scotmid Co-operative Funeral Directors because they share my passion for customer service.
I have lived all my life in Cumbernauld and outside of work I play guitar in a band, go for long walks with my dog and if there is any time left I enjoy travelling around the country as much as I can on my motorbike.

Funeral Arranger
I began working with Scotmid in 2000 as a Funeral Operative and progressed to Funeral Director, Senior Funeral Director and to my current role of Funeral Manager. I started at Fountainbridge then our main office and am now based at Angle Park.
Born and bred in Edinburgh I previously worked for The Department of Work and Pensions until I found my real passion in the Funeral Industry. I have never looked back and believe I am very lucky to hold such an important role in the local community. I find my role extremely rewarding when assisting families in their time of need.
