Originally from Glasgow I moved to Edinburgh to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. I am passionate about customer care and that is why I enjoy being a Funeral Director so much now. I live with my partner Allister in Midlothian and I have one daughter, Suzanne. Previously I lived in a rural small holding and had numerous animals, a beloved Bernese Mountain Dog called Belle, a bearded collie, three cats, two pigs and Mr Poppy a house rabbit. Outside of work I enjoy cycling and have completed many cycling challenges for our nominated charity, including many Pedal for Scotland’s ( 47 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh), Edinburgh Night-ride ( 50 miles around Edinburgh on Midsummers Evening) and part of The Great Tour of Britain which was 70 miles from St Andrews to Musselburgh. I also very much enjoy hill climbing and would love to bag lots of Munros in the not too distant future.
