I have worked with Scotmid Funerals since January 2013, initially as a Roving Funeral Arranger where my role was to provide cover where required for any of our offices throughout Edinburgh and the West of Scotland, a role which I found very rewarding and interesting. I have been permanently based at our Boswall office since January 2014.
I previously worked as an Architect’s Secretary, over a 20 year period, and prior to joining Scotmid I worked as a Support Worker in a residential unit for a disability charity. My experience working in varied environments has enabled me to develop a range of skills to help and guide families I meet.
I am Edinburgh born and live in the West of Edinburgh with my husband, my son and his family live in Whitburn, West Lothian.
Outside of work I enjoy swimming, reading, going to the cinema and attend a local Community Choir which is great fun. I also like to travel and have visited some lovely locations both in Britain and abroad.
