What is a funeral plan?
A funeral plan lets you arrange and pay for your funeral in advance and at today’s prices, beating rising funeral costs. It’s an easy way to get your funeral arranged whilst protecting loved ones from rising costs and uncertainty about your final wishes.
Planning your own funeral
Many people plan their own funeral well in advance, to make sure the funeral is what they would wish, and to take the stress away from the next of kin.
Making prior arrangements yourself can make all the difference to your loved ones. You can take your time and think it through carefully, calmly and rationally. You’ll then get the kind of send-off you really want.
All you have to do is sit down with a member of our staff and discuss all your individual requirements, so that the plan can be made to suit your wishes and budget.
The choice is yours:
There are several options available, our bespoke funeral plan, is designed so you can choose exactly the service you want, this can be either a burial or cremation.
- The flexibility of building your own your own plan means you can choose exactly what you want, this offers you a choice of coffin, how many limousines you’d like, whether you’d want a special hearse, such as a horse drawn or our own vintage style hearse.
If you’re choosing a cremation, then one of our set cremation plans might be a better choice.
- Our set cremation plans make it easy to see what’s included at a fixed price, there are four set plans for you to choose from.
Whichever funeral plan you choose arrangements can be made in the comfort of your own home, or at one of our local funeral offices.
You’ll be issued with a Funeral Plan certificate to be held with your personal documents or with your solicitor, and a copy will be held on permanent file for you at our office.
